My Nutrition & Fitness Philosophy is Simple
The more whole & non-processed foods, the better. In this day & age we are constantly bombarded by toxic marketing & false nutrition & fitness dogma. Big pharma, big agriculture, the food industry, and all of the other colorful 'health' entities simply want your righteous dollar bills; they couldn't care less about your wellness. The internet, social media, radio, billboards, & podcasts are also rife with this persuading absurdity.
That's why I am here to help guide you to the holistic truth; Your truth.
There are no good or bad foods. There are only balancing & imbalancing foods, all dependent on lifestyle and each individual's bio-individuality. Every person is unique– some of us do well with grains, nuts & seeds, others do well with a more carnivorous approach, some need help reducing sugar or perhaps they need to limit fat. However, everyone needs to prioritize an anti-inflammatory diet along with an exercise regimen that fits their specific needs.

I work with each client to come up with an affordable personalized solution that makes him or her feel completely balanced, energized, & empowered. I will guide & support you through gradual 'baby' steps that will never feel too overwhelming or too intense. My clients experience big results mentally, physically, & spiritually in a matter of weeks.

The most important ingredients in the cvc.wellness recipe are positivity, empowerment & self-confidence. I won't just provide basic nutrition & fitness advice like most 'health' coaches in the industry. Instead, I will utilize the 6 dimensions of wellness and tailor it to your unique needs. Meet Christian Van Camp, Your Health Coach

The Basics
I’m a 24 year old wellness & fitness coach addicted to helping as many people as I can reach an optimal state in mind, body and spirit. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri as a skinny, energetic and slightly uncoordinated dork competing in a wide-variety of sports: outfielder in baseball, striker in soccer, sprinter of the strenuous 400-meter dash, ping-pong enthusiast... the list goes on & on. I live by the ‘holistic’ approach; an application that is defined by all systems of health working synergistically with the mind, body & spirit-- all of which play a role in a human being's total wellness!
What I Love
My passion in life is guiding & supporting others to feel amazing & zen, inside and out. In addition, I love reading self-optimization books (one of my favorites is Boundless by Ben Greenfield), to constantly move & groove around (hiking, strength training, walking, yoga, longboarding, juggling), experimenting with delicious & nutritious foods & supplements, learning all about the nitty-gritty fitness & nutrition science and sharing that knowledge with others through coaching. If I am ever feeling run-down or stressed I’ll take an icy-cold shower or prioritize some time to come inward through breathwork & meditation. I wake up every day excited to do what I love!
Education & Background
I graduated with my BSs in Human Nutrition from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Since an 18 year-old, I have spent most of my free time reading nutrition, self-help & fitness books, listening to wellness podcasts (Align, Heal Thy Self & Ben Greenfield Fitness are some of my favorites!), & researching all I can about how to naturally heal the human body. I previously worked for CBD American Shaman Kava Bar & Yoga Studio and studied the macrocosm of CBD. Other than Holistic Lifestyle Coaching full-time, I also operate as a Wellness Technician at Restore Hyper Wellness Center and work as a Superfoods Specialist & Professional Network Marketer for Purium Organic Health Products.
