Waste, death, destruction, disease, pollution. Not the most positive & uplifting words, but that's the reality of ‘big food’. They're taking over the planet… if YOU let them. We are producing 300 million+ tons of plastic EVERY YEAR, 50% of which is for single-use purposes. We drink our “Pure Life” water bottle for a brief moment, then let it degrade our planet for HUNDREDS of years. If you truly care about your health, your family’s, your friends, & the planet’s… STOP using these products.

This article is going to pull heart strings. I want to make it clear, it allllll starts with individual effort. It begins with YOU. There is no one else to blame. I don't strictly blame these corporations because they are just trying to make the almighty dollar; they aren’t necessarily out to harm you or Mother Earth. However, they do go about their business model without our health in mind.

This consumption consumption consumption is beginning to bite EVERYONE in the booty… hard. And it hurts, real bad. Now that 2021 is right around the corner, it’s time to take action before it is too late. We certainly don't want everything to turn rancid, die, and burn to sh*t, do we?.

These big names (you surely know of) are destroying forests, killing ocean critters like cute sea turtles, contaminating and depleting the soil our "nutritious" food grows in, and infecting the air we breathe. 8 million+ tons of plastic is dumped into our oceans EVERY YEAR.... my stomach curled from that stat. That's hard to digest.

“Well dang flabbit… that's A LOT. Soooo, how do I help?!”

  • READ labels and opt out of the “big-corp” purchase

  • Recycle and don’t litter

  • Reuse.

  • Reduce

  • Choose the superior product using healthier materials and practices (i.e. decomposable, glass, natural)

OUR DEMAND creates everlasting change in the industry. These everyday individual choices morph into a collective--they uplift and build the consciousness for all beings on EARTH. Harvest positivity through YOUR independent actions, because as the saying goes, “Your actions speak louder than words.”

Here are the TOP 10 OFFENDERS to the planet and YOUR health. I personally will NEVER support or buy from these guys because of their selfish destructive practices:

1. Coca-Cola (McDonald's)

2. PepsiCo

3. Nestlé

4. Danone

5. Mondelez International

6. Procter & Gamble

7. Unilever

8. Perfetti van Melle

9. Mars Incorporated

10. Colgate-Palmolive

Plastic is not sustainable. Simple, sweet and to the point (#BreakFreeFromPlastic). These companies have been vowing that they’ll use recyclable sustainable materials for YEARS. But still, no budging or commitment. Sure, they provide us ‘ease of living’ but this luxury comes with toxic backlashes.

EVEN if they do transition to real recyclables, most of the waste STILL ends up in the oceans or in the soil… reeking havoc on our food supply and the planet’s health. We need to begin taking advantage of materials that decompose. Think about it, its flippin’ 2020--these innovations are available at our fingertips but the companies won’t transition to them regardless of how much guap they have in their pockets. They are fearful of change. So YOU have to be the change.

Another thing you can keep in mind before I conclude: these water bottles and companies typically load up their products with inferior, toxic chemicals that are not designed for human consumption. For instance, Nestle water may be filtered, but it's loaded with BPA (a hormone disruptor) and contains copious amounts of hyperpalatable ingredients that keep you thirsty. Coca-cola is also notorious for this. Their water product Dasani contains small amounts of MSG salt and thirst-inducing ingredients to keep you chugging without fulfillment. YUCK.
